Commissioned by Boiler Room in collaboration with Native Instruments, Tokyo Bass is a short documentary following Kode9’s journey through Japan’s bass culture. The film explores Tokyo’s underground scene, connecting early Japanese drum traditions with contemporary footwork and club music, and featuring key voices from the city’s nightlife community.
